RX-931AS PID Temperature Controlled Soldering Station

PID assures accurate temperature control. Functional new design.

The RX-931AS series is a temperature control soldering station compliant with ISO 9000 series loaded with many features including PID control of the temperature, KEY LOCK control of the temperature setting and SLEEP MODE saving energy.

Feature

DESIGNED WITH THE FOCUS ON BASIC SAFETY
The heater power source is 24V AC and uses an insulated transformer. The tip and heater barrel are welded and grounded to protect the parts being soldered.


	VARIABLE TEMPERATURE SETTING AND ACCURATE TEMPERATURE CONTROL The temperature can be set from the room temperature up to 500°C. The digital display allows the difference between the tip temperature and the setting temperature to be checked at a glance. The PID assures precise stable temperature control. In addition, the temperature can be controlled when required by only P control.

SOLDERING TIP SENSOR FEEDBACK SYSTEM THAT MEASURES ACTUAL TIP TEMPERATURE The PID tip temperature control system accurately measures and controls the actual tip temperature in real time. This allows the supervising costs to be greatly reduced for point soldering work, while reducing the time required for workers to learn the soldering skill.

KEY LOCK FUNCTION
The required temperature can be set and locked using the KEY LOCK and the secret code number (Any number from 001 to 999)
( PAT. P). No special tools or cards are required.

ALARM FUNCTION
Setting the alarm on IN, the alarm lamp will light in the possible operation range. When setting the alarm on OUT, the alarm lamp will light when exceeding the possible operation range. There is also an alarm signal output terminal. (Modification required)

AUTO TUNING
When changing the set temperature or replacing the heater or tip, the optimum PID value for the setting temperature will be determined by the auto tuning. By periodically doing the auto tuning, the stability of the tip temperature and its response is increased.

SLEEP FUNCTION (PAT. P)
When not operating for a set period of time, this built-in SLEEP function reduces the tip temperature to the set temperature automatically. This not only saves energy but also increases the life of the heater and the tip.

NEW ERGONOMICS (DESIGN PAT. P)
The newly developed light weight slim soldering unit reduces hand fatigue during daily operation.

EASY REPLACEMENT OF TIP AND HEATER
The tip and sensor are manufactured as a set. This assures easy replacement. Also as the heater has a connector, replacement is easy.

CAL (CALIBRATION) FUNCTION (PAT. P)
This does the calibration of the tip temperature. When there is a difference between the tip temperature and the display temperatu re, the temperature calibration can be easily done by simply inputting the fixed value.

ESTABLISHING THE TRACEABILITY
Although the RX-931AS series has a built-in high accuracy thermometer, periodic temperature calibration may be required. The calibration and issuance of the relevant certificates can be done for a charge. Please contact your local distributor.

CHARACTERISTIC CURVE OF SLEEP MODE
This automatically reduces the tip temp. to stand-by position while the unit is not in use within the set time. This function enables not only power savings but also increases the life of heater and of the tip.
