Structure 100 / 300

AX flat and Zip-Top Static shield bags are manufactured from industry approved polyester/metal/polyethylene laminates. The polyester dielectric in concert with the metal layer provides Faraday cage effect shielding of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD). The metal layer prevents the penetration of damaging electrostatic fields. The specially processed polyethylene minimizes Tribocharging.

"Pink Poly" and other static dissipative polyethylene bags do not use a conductive layer in their construction. Since they lack this conductive layer, they cannot protect their contents (IC's or PCB's) from ESD or electrostatic fields as required by EIA 625. These pink poly bags were designed to offer a non-static generating poly bags that were sometimes used to contain documents or other non-ESD sensitive items.

AX-100 Static Shield Bag, Metal-In

The AX-100 is recognized as the most reliable, readily available, and competitively priced static shield bag in the electronics industry. This transparent, metal-in static shield bag provides a static safe environment for sensitive electronic devices. With over 100 stock sizes and an 8,000,000 bag inventory ready for shipping, the AX-100 remains the bag of choice for IC and PCB protection. AX-100 bags are tested to meet or exceed the electrical and physical requirements of MIL-B-81705C Type III, EIA 541, EIA 625, MIL-HDBK-263, MIL-STD-1686, and EOS/ESD Standards.

AX-300 Static Shield Bag, Meta-In, Zip-Top

As an alternative to folding your bags and securing them with an ESD warning label, try our AX-300 bags. We use dual track, antistatic, amine-free zipper material and our own custom built machines to manufacture zipper bags that have a reputation for outstanding reliability in a market notorious for poor quality.
