What Makes a Rectangular Lensed Magnifier More Productive Than a Round Lensed Magnifier?  -  Larger field-of-view through optimization of the viewing area. -  A 7.5" rectangular lens has more than 6" field-of view and a 5" round lens has a 3" field-of-view.  That is more than double the field-of-view when the image is in focus and undistorted. -  Greater productivity with less time spent repositioning/focusing the magnifier.

Description:

The A-2012 ZeroCharge Magnifier Lamp features a large 7,5’’ x 6.2” (19cm x 15.7cm) 5-diopter (2.25x), distortion free quality rectangular lens mounted in an impact resistant ESD plastic housing. Shadow free illumination is guaranteed with three panels of long life, white light LED’s which comprise of 108 illumination points.  The light is designed for electro-static discharge (ESD) safe operation, ideal for sensitive electronic environments and the 60,000-hour service life ensures years of quality lighting.  The large, rectangular viewing area enables crystal clear viewing with both eyes and provides shadow-free magnification with light coming from three sides. The housing is mounted to a spring balanced metal arm which extends  32" in height and 42 inches horizontally to position your light source and lens exactly where you need it. The lamp can be set in any position. Unit operates at 115 VAC (or 220 if required), and is supplied complete with a table mounting camp and a 5-foot power cord.
